We put Hayley in a kennel for the first time ever and went to Sandusky, OH for Grammy's 70th birthday. Mary Anne and the girls and Grammy had the room next to us and we had a great time spending time with the girls and exploring the Lodge.
It was awesome that the four bigger kids were big enough to go on rides by themselves and together. They did every slide and every pool in the park, multiple times. They are all part fish!
Great Wolf has Kids Club where kids can go and do projects and make things. We went a couple of times and made picture frames and other art and then we went back and decorated pumpkins. They did a great job!
While in Ohio we went to the drive through zoo. We all loaded into Aunt Mary Anne's van and went together and we laughed and had a great time watching all the animals chase the cars for the food they sell for them. Aunt MA was none too thrilled by all the SLOBBER and yuck on her car. Jeff decided he would open a car wash across the street from the zoo.
The boys were thrilled to see Aero Med at the township open house this year. We tried to get a good picture of them with it but no go. We did have dinner with Papa Pete who was here for a Bil Mar meeting.
As I look back through the September photo file it is hard to even remember how warm the beach is and what fun we had. September wasn't all that great but October has been nothing but rain and cold and there is even a chance of SNOW this weekend!!!
So....a few last summer photos to tide us over until next year.
